At least 10 people were killed and seven others wounded in a shooting at a bar in the central Mexican city of Querétaro. Reuters reported this information in an article on Monday (November 11).
According to the report, Juan Luis Ferrusca, head of Querétaro’s Public Security Department, said that the attackers opened fire at Los Cantaritos bar in the city’s historic district.
In a video posted on social media, he stated, “Emergency services arrived at the scene and confirmed that at least four armed individuals arrived at the bar in a pickup truck. So far, we have confirmed 10 deaths and at least seven people have been injured.”
Ferrusca said that one suspect has been arrested in connection with the attack. The vehicle used in the shooting was found abandoned and had been set on fire.
