A drone attack has been executed on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in the city of Caesarea. The incident was confirmed today through an official statement from Netanyahu’s office.

A spokesperson revealed that a drone, originating from Lebanon, perpetrated the strike on Netanyahu’s residence located north of Tel Aviv, Israel’s capital, in Caesarea.

A statement articulated that ‘an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) infiltrated the Prime Minister’s residence in Caesarea. The Prime Minister and his spouse were not present at the premises. No casualties were reported in the incident.’

Previously, there was ambiguity regarding whether the drone attack on ‘an infrastructure’ reported by the Israeli military was specifically targeting Netanyahu’s residence.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) proclaimed that three drone attacks were launched from Lebanon towards Israel today, of which they successfully intercepted two.

Several missiles were also discharged from Lebanon towards northern Israel today, triggering air raid sirens across the region.

Meanwhile, Lebanese authorities have confirmed that two individuals were killed in an Israeli strike in the Jounieh area north of Beirut. This marks the first strike in the region since tensions escalated between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah last year.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that an “Israeli enemy attack” targeted a vehicle in Jounieh. According to Lebanese state media, the strike occurred on a crucial highway connecting the northern region to the capital.

The confrontation between Israel and Hezbollah has been persistent. Israel initiated a ground offensive along the Lebanese border last month.

Yesterday, on Friday, the IDF claimed to have obliterated a Hezbollah regional command center through airstrikes.

Hezbollah subsequently announced that they had launched multiple rocket attacks targeting Haifa and northern Israeli cities.

The militant group later disclosed that they had conducted an explosive drone strike on an air defense installation east of Hadera, a city in central Israel.
