Analysts assert that the United States has directly facilitated Israeli military's belligerence in Gaza. They claim Israel is working towards depopulating Gaza with American complicity.
This information emerged from an Al Jazeera analysis published today, Sunday.
Hassan Niemna, a political analyst at the Middle East Institute, told Al Jazeera that Israel’s capacity for such aggressive actions in Gaza stems from US support. The country has received an enormous cache of armaments from the United States for conducting operations in Palestinian territory.
Niemna states, “At this juncture (after such extensive violence), considering American silence, their ‘quasi-participation’ through arms supplies, and all other factors, it must be said that the US is ideologically aligned with what’s transpiring in Gaza.”
Israel has intensified its offensive in northern Gaza over recent days. The IDF hasn’t hesitated to attack even civilians attempting to flee these assaults. The circumstances suggest that Israel is advancing with the objective of forcibly displacing Palestinians and occupying their territory.
He adds, “The horrific situation we’re witnessing in Gaza” has been orchestrated with US “facilitation.”
“An egregious situation has materialized there, and we’re bearing witness to it. Again, we observe Israel’s ally (the US) maintaining complete silence. They could even be described as apathetic. While not direct, US support is certainly implicit. Without the American administration’s acquiescence, Israel could never have executed what it’s doing now,” he elaborates.
“Evidently, what Israel is achieving was the predetermined objective of this comprehensive operation—rendering the Gaza Strip uninhabited,” Niemna concludes.
